!Hubzilla Support Forum
- I just got started with the hubzilla network. I have a few questions that I'm not sure if they fall into Development or normal user support. Here's the list.
- Recently, I've had to reset the database on my selfhosted instance. But now there's a duplicate channel listing in the public directory when restricted to local directory listing. How do I fix this without deleting the channel on my end that has the duplicate entry? This happened when I cleaned the database and forgot to hit delete on a channel.
Removing a recreated version of channel, then deleting it doesn't fix the phantom entry in the public directory, only the added duplicate. Said phantom entry is @The Ephmeral Eternity . Clicking on this entry results in a 404 since the channel doesn't exist.
- When migrating photos, the status posts for them break and cannot be edited. However, re-uploading the photos to the new primary hub reloads the comments on there after another comment is made. Why do the comments look up the associated file by filename, but not the status posts? Am confused.
- Then there's the articles. I noticed those don't federate unless I open them and hit save. They're also not saved with the channel exports. Is there an easier way to get the articles synced across copies?
